Job summary

Merakey in Marlton, NJ is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental and behavioral health needs. No experience required; paid training is provided and all shifts are available.

The DSPs will help with daily living activities, encourage independence, and work under the supervision of the House Manager to monitor progress and safety.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• High School diploma/G.E.D. required.
• Experience in a home health aide setting, or school setting working with people who have Intellectual and Developmental disabilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities and housekeeping.
• Provide encouragement, mentoring, and coaching to help individuals achieve goals.
• Follow procedures and be supervised by the House Manager; review results.
• Support independence by assisting with daily and personal activities.
