Chimes is hiring a Direct Support Professional in Windsor Mill, MD to empower individuals with intellectual and behavioral challenges. This full-time role offers hands-on care, documentation, and support across daily living activities in a compassionate team setting.

Responsibilities include following care plans, administering medications per policy, facilitating community engagement, and traveling between programs as needed. Competitive benefits start upon employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or preferred depending on the role.
• Experience in disability services is preferred but not required; training is provided.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50+ lbs.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with acceptable driving history requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support with kindness and respect.
• Assist with personal care including dressing, toileting, hygiene, feeding, bathing.
• Follow individualized care plans and document progress.
• Administer medications in accordance with policy.
• Maintain a safe, clean, supportive environment.
• Use approved behavior support techniques.
• Encourage community engagement and participation.
• Travel may be required to support from Residential to Day programs.
