Job summary

Eden Autism Services is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to support adults in our group homes and day programs in Hamilton, NJ. The role includes 2 weeks of paid training (8:00 am - 4:00 pm) for Adult Services, and a variety of schedules including weekend day, overnight and 3-day-on/3-day-off rotations.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license with a clean record, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Ability to meet physical requirements (lift up to 50 lbs).
• Experience with autism or disabilities is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of participants at all times.
• Teach basic life skills (cooking, laundry, cleaning).
• Assist with daily activities including shopping and recreation.
• Transport participants to group homes and activities.
• Document progress and communicate with families and supervisors.
