North Jersey Friendship House, Inc. is seeking a Day Program staff member to support individuals with Autism and Developmental Disabilities in skill development for independent functioning and community integration.
Primary duties include leading groups, coordinating daily activities, and transporting members to activities using a 12-passenger van when needed. The role emphasizes confidentiality, safety, and collaboration with program managers.
Department: Day Program
FTE/Classification: Full Time/Non-Exempt
Hours: Monday to Friday (8:30am - 4:00pm; 37.5 hours a week)
Pay: $19.00
Primary Function: Responsible for supporting individuals with Autism and other Developmental Disabilities in the development of skills needed for greater independent functioning and community integration. Support will be provided to the individuals in the community, in social and vocational activities as well as classroom-type settings.
