Job summary

Redwood Family Care Network is hiring Direct Support Professionals to assist adults with developmental disabilities in daily living in the Redmond/Bellevue area. The role includes supporting dietary, hygiene, grooming, and dressing needs, and redirecting behaviors as needed.

You will work with a team in a person-centered home and community setting, with ongoing training, background checks, and potential for growth. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to support adults with developmental disabilities with challenging behaviors preferred.
• Must have a valid in-state driver’s license and provide current car insurance.
• Must enroll and complete Nurse Delegation study course within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities including dietary, hygiene, grooming and dressing needs.
• Redirect behaviors and support participants with various activities.
• Maintain documentation such as medication logs, shift notes, and progress notes.
• Coordinate transportation for participants as needed.
• Attend staff meetings and required trainings.
