Job summary

Redwood Family Care Network in Brentwood, CA is seeking a Direct Support Professional to support individuals with developmental disabilities, promoting health, safety and well-being. This full-time role requires AM and PM shifts and an on-site presence in Brentwood.

Responsibilities include creating daily routines per the Individual Program Plan, assisting with bathroom needs and clothing changes, helping with meals, and transporting clients as needed.

Qualifications

Must obtain Direct Support Professional Certificate within first 12 months of Hire.
First Aid/CPR & CPI preferred or willing to obtain.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must have a California Driver’s License.
Candidate must successfully pass all pre-employment requirements, including a background check.

Responsibilities

Outline and prepare daily routines for clients per Individual Program Plan.
Assist clients with bathroom needs.
Change clients' undergarments and/or clothing if needed.
Prepare daily meals and assist with clean-up.
Pick-up/drop-off clients in company vans from/to their home/facility.

Education

Direct Support Professional Certificate – DSP Year 1 & Year 2

First Aid/CPR & CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention

21+ years of age

California Driver’s License

Background check clearance
