Job summary

Cadient, LLC seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support seven women at Oak Road West in Mahopac, NY. The DSP provides training and daily living support in a residential setting and in the community, helping residents reach their fullest potentials.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED (post-high-school Human Services a plus), a NYS driver’s license, and basic computer skills. Paid orientation and required certifications will be provided.

Qualifications

• A NYS driver's license is required.

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides support and skills training to people with developmental and intellectual disabilities in a residential setting and within the community.

Oak Road West is an all-female house made up of seven awesome middle-aged ladies and very caring staff! The ladies love to shop, go out to eat, walk around the neighborhood, have spa days, or just sit on the deck at home while soaking up the sun. The home is a 6 bedroom 3 bathroom split level home in Mahopac off of Secor Road in a very loving and family-oriented neighborhood, just a few minutes’ walk to Lake Secor. If you want to develop meaningful relationships and help these ladies reach their fullest potentials, Oak Road West is the residence for you!

A high school diploma or GED is desired. Post-high-school education in Human Services is a definite plus. An acceptable NYS driver's license and basic computer knowledge are a must. An informative, paid new hire orientation is provided in a comfortable learning environment. HOURS: On Call - As Needed

Starting Salary: $19.74- $21.72per hour with additional shift differentials as applicable
