On-Call Direct Support Professional - Meadow Lane residence

The Direct Support Professional (DSP)provides support and skills training to people with developmental and intellectual disabilities in a residential setting and within the community.

Meadow Lane is located in a quiet neighborhoodin the smallhamlet ofAccord and is the home tothree gentlemen. These men enjoy a variety of activities both at home and within the smallcommunity in which they live. DSPswholove to bepart of a small, cohesive team, andcan bring creativity and enthusiasm to the jobenjoy working at Meadow Lane.

A high school diploma or GED is desired. Post-high-school education in Human Services is a definite plus. An acceptable NYS driver's license and basic computer knowledge are a must. An informative, paid new hire orientation is provided in a comfortable learning environment. Training will also include Van Certification, SCIP, First Aid/CPR, and Medication Administration certification .

HOURS:On-call/as needed

STARTING SALARY: $ 18.56to $ 20.42per hour, with additional shift differentials as applicable
