Job summary

Service Alternatives is seeking a Direct Support Professional in Snohomish County to empower adults with developmental disabilities to live full, meaningful lives. You will support individuals in developing essential life skills, help them maintain independence in their own homes, and encourage their active participation as community members. No experience required; training provided.

Starting wage $21.45–$22.45 per hour. Location: Snohomish County, WA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Have a clear criminal history and pass a background check
• Be at least 18 or older
• CPR/First Aid license (within 30 days) or paid by SA
• Current driver license, car, and car insurance.

Responsibilities

• Empower adults with developmental disabilities to live full, meaningful lives.
• Support individuals in developing essential life skills and maintaining independence in their own homes.
• Encourage active participation as valued community members.
• Provide direct support and supervision to participants in various settings.
• Assist with daily living activities and transportation as needed.

Education

CPR/First Aid certification

Current NAR (1st year paid by SA)

Current 75-hour certification (Long-Term Care Worker) or exemption letter

Current driver license, car, and car insurance
