Job summary

Aurora Staffing is seeking dedicated staff to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities within Legacy Treatment Services programs in New Jersey. This role involves assisting with daily living, health management, and community-based activities, while promoting inclusion and independence.

Responsibilities include teamwork with planning teams, documentation, and adherence to licensing standards.

Qualifications

• Must pass and maintain required trainings including Crisis Management, CPR and First Aid.
• Clearance in CHRI (Criminal History Background Check) required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must pass drug screen and CARI as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in daily living activities including personal and health management, communication, and safety.
• Participate in development of ISP and Planning Team meetings.
• Complete required paperwork accurately.
• Administer medication to clients who need support taking medication.
• Attend staff meetings and required trainings and transport clients as needed.
