Job summary

Merakey in Newtown Square, PA is hiring Direct Support Professionals to join our compassionate team. No prior experience is required as we provide PAID training and immediate starts.

Responsibilities include aiding individuals with daily living activities, personal care, and developing social skills according to the Individual Support Plan. The role operates during overnight shifts: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 12am–8am and Saturday 10pm–8am, with pay at $16.75/hour, and enhanced pay up to

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• High School diploma/G.E.D. preferred
• Experience in a home health aide setting, or school setting working with people who have Intellectual and Developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Must have a desire to help others reach their fullest potential.

Responsibilities

• Follow the Individual Support Plan to assist with daily living activities, including personal care and daily hygiene.
• Assist consumers with daily tasks such as housekeeping and laundry, fostering independence.
• Support social and communication skills and encourage engagement in community and recreational activities.
• Provide mentorship, encouragement, and coaching to help individuals achieve their goals.

Position Details

Our ideal Direct Support Professional candidatewill have a strong desire to create long-term impacts on their consumer's lives and enjoy encouraging, mentoring, and coaching others to achieve their goals. Spend your day in a variety of settings making memories with our individuals. By following the Individual Support Plan, you can enjoy your days at the park and sensory gardens, while working on social and communication skills. Enhancing independence by assisting with daily hygiene and personal care. Foster a true sense of pride in your individual, by teaching them to navigate daily living activities, such as housekeeping and laundry.

No experience required - we provide PAID training.

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 12am - 8am, Saturday 10pm - 8am

Earn $16.75/hour. Earn up to $18.75 with enhanced pay !
