Job summary

Chimes in Baltimore is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to empower individuals with intellectual and behavioral challenges to live with dignity, independence, and confidence. You will provide hands-on support in a team‑oriented environment, following individualized care plans and documenting progress.

This role includes assisting with personal care, adhering to safety policies, and supporting community engagement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in disability services preferred but not required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support with kindness and respect.
• Assist with personal care including dressing, toileting, hygiene, feeding, bathing and daily living tasks.
• Follow individualized care plans and document progress.
• Administer medications in accordance with policy.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment.
• Encourage community engagement and participation.
• Some DSP roles will require travel between Residential and Day programs.
