Job summary

Mains’l Services in Minnesota is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to help individuals live full, meaningful lives in their homes and communities. You’ll work part-time with evening and weekend schedules, providing person-centered supports and companionship.

As a DSP, you’ll assist with daily activities, transportation, and skill-building while documenting care and progress. A valid driver’s license and DHS background check are required; CNA license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Compassion, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
• 18 years or older.
• A valid US driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a DHS background check.
• CNA license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered supports including activities of daily living and behavioral supports.
• Assist with transportation to activities and medical appointments.
• Maintain safe, clean, and welcoming living environments (including laundry and meal prep).
• Teach valuable skills—from financial management to communication.
• Be a source of companionship, guidance, and advocacy.
• Accurately document care and daily activities.
