Job summary

Whole Life is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to join our team in Connecticut. This part-time DSP role focuses on helping adults with developmental and physical disabilities with daily living activities, community engagement, and personal care while promoting independence and safety.

You will work 30 hours weekly across shifts, participate in training, and collaborate with families and managers to implement personalized care plans.

Qualifications

• Proof of high school diploma or GED required.
• Proof of valid driver's license and government ID.
• Ability to pass background checks, health and TB tests within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and daily living tasks.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and support medical appointments.
• Maintain a clean, safe living environment through light housekeeping and laundry.
• Engage clients in social activities and community outings to promote independence.
• Document daily activities and observations, maintaining confidentiality as required.
• Implement individualized care plans for each client.
