Job summary

Bristol Adult Resource Center, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our Residential Group Home Program.

You will support daily activities, personal care, and participation in community and social events. This part-time role offers paid training, PTO, affordable health benefits, a 401K with matching, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least age 18.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide opportunities for learning new skills and independence by working on individuals’ goals and plans.
• Transport individual to and from programs and activities.
• Administer medications and treatments meeting all guidelines and accurate documentation.
• Provide safe and nurturing environment where Individuals are treated with dignity, respect, can exercise their rights and responsibilities and are protected from abuse or neglect.
• Electronically record daily activities maintaining confidentiality and complying with all policies and procedures to protect the identity, medical, HIPPA information.
• Obtain and maintain all required certifications and trainings (in person and online).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
