Devereux is seeking Direct Support Professionals in Bridgeton, NJ. You will support adults with autism and developmental disabilities, helping them gain independence and daily living skills in residential or day program settings.

Starting wage is $20.42 per hour with potential increases based on education and experience. Devereux offers generous time off, healthcare options, student loan reimbursement through ASCEND, and clear pathways for career growth within a collaborative team.

Competenze

• A high school diploma or GED.
• A valid, non-provisional driver's license.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Attendance to a two-week paid new hire orientation training that is hybrid and in person.
• Empathy, reliability, and a team-oriented approach to supporting adults with autism and developmental disabilities.

Mansioni

• Direct Support Professionals may work in residential group homes or vocational day programs.
• Help ensure the safety, health, and well-being of individuals in our care.
• Coach and assist individuals as they build daily living skills, including food preparation, cooking, cleaning, and shopping.
• Support the planning, implementation, and documentation of programs that address each individual's social, emotional, physical, and personal needs.
• Plan and participate in community-based employment, outings and day program activities that promote involvement and independence.
• Build positive, productive relationships with individuals’ family members to help ensure the individual thrives under the care we provide.
• Safely transporting our individuals to doctor appointments, day program, and scheduled community activities.
