Latham Centers, Inc. is seeking Direct Support Professionals to empower individuals with complex disabilities across Cape Cod and southeastern MA. Earn $20.20–$21.85 per hour (experience-based) with a sign-on bonus up to $1,000, plus comprehensive benefits and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license for some positions.
• Basic computer skills.
• Customer service, retail, hospitality, education, childcare, or healthcare experience is a plus and highly transferable to this role.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with activities of daily living, meal preparation, and medication administration.
• Plan and lead structured activities, recreational outings, and community experiences.
• Teach and reinforce life skills that promote independence.
• Implement individualized support and behavior plans.
• Provide positive role modeling, encouragement, guidance, and informal counseling.
• Create a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment.
• Build meaningful relationships with the individuals you support.
• Work collaboratively with coworkers, clinical staff, and supervisors.
