Job summary

Richmond Community Services in Yonkers, NY is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to help people live as independently as possible. You will assist with daily routines, personal care, and participation in community activities, appointments, meals, and recreation to help clients reach personal goals.

No previous DSP experience is required; we provide paid training to develop the necessary skills, certifications, and confidence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license from NY, NJ, or CT held for at least 3 years.
• Caring, dependable, and respectful approach to supporting others.
• Must be able to complete required training and certifications.

Join our team as a Direct Support Professional (DSP)! Our DSPs play an important role in supporting the people we serve to live as independently and fully as possible. From helping with daily routines and personal care to supporting community activities, appointments, meals, recreation, and personal goals, DSPs provide encouragement, guidance, and hands‑on support every step of the way. You’ll build meaningful relationships, celebrate accomplishments, help people develop greater independence, and become an important part of their everyday lives.

No DSP Experience? We’ll Train You! Skills You don’t need to arrive with every certification already in place. We provide paid training to help you develop the skills and knowledge you need to succeed, including:

• AMAP (Medication Administration) training
• CPR certification
• SCIP‑R certification and training
• Additional training to help you feel confident and prepared

Full-Time, Part Time, & Per Diem Opportunities We have FULL‑TIME positions available across a variety of shifts, so you can find an opportunity that fits your schedule and your life. Prefer flexibility? We also have PART TIME AND PER DIEM opportunities available, giving you the ability to pick up shifts based on your availability.

What You’ll Need
