We are growing and adding positions to our team! The job duties for the position of Direct Support Professionalare listed below.
The Direct Support ICF Professional Weekend Day shift 8a-8p is responsible for the routine and emergency care, treatment, and training for specified individuals with developmental disabilities in routine and crisis situations. Responsibilities may include such duties as grooming, feeding, cooking, cleaning, observing, and reporting individuals’ conditions and behaviors. The Direct Support ICF Professional Weekend Day Staff is required to accurately document individuals’ behavior(s) throughput the daily schedule, including response to home activities, home training, and unusual incidents. Completion of work requires use of simple and/or routine duties, while decision-making is based on well-defined guidelines. May perform other duties as assigned. Works under minimum supervision with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgement.
Shift Schedule:
Saturday and Sunday 8a-8p
Applicants must pass a criminal background check, pre-employment drug screen, and registry checks including Nurse Aide, Medication Aide, and Employee Misconduct. All DRI employees are subject to random drug testing. Flexibility in work hours may be required for this position. The position may be required to work overtime and/or extended hours.
