Job summary

In Good Company Care and Supports seeks Direct Support Professionals for full-time and part-time roles across New Jersey. Provide hands-on support in homes and communities, assist with daily living, and help individuals participate in activities and appointments.

You will follow individualized plans, document services, and maintain a safe, respectful environment while building trust with clients and families. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities preferred, training provided.

• Able to pass background checks and complete required trainings.

Direct Support Professional (DSP)

In Good Company Care and Supports provides home- and community-based support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout New Jersey. We're looking for compassionate, reliable Direct Support Professionals to join our team — both full-time and part-time positions available.

What You'll Do

• Provide direct, hands-on support to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in their homes and communities




• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks




• Support individuals in community activities, appointments, and outings




• Follow individualized care plans and behavior support plans as directed




• Administer medication as trained and authorized (where applicable)




• Document services provided accurately and in accordance with NJ DDD requirements




• Communicate regularly with families, care team members, and agency staff regarding the individual's needs and progress




• Maintain a safe, respectful, and person-centered environment at all times

What We're Looking For

• Experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities preferred, but not required — we provide training




• Patient, compassionate, and dependable




• Strong communication skills and good judgment




• Comfortable with personal care tasks




• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred




• Ability to pass required background checks and complete DDD-mandated training (CPR/First Aid, Medication Administration, etc. — provided by the company)
