The Summit Center in Western New York is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist adults with developmental disabilities in a community-based day program. You will help with recreation, life skills training, and promoting independence in a collaborative team environment.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma and 1 year of relevant experience; flexible hours for outings; competitive pay of $23.52 per hour, with benefits including health, dental, vision, PTO, and paid holidays.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of professional experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Dayhab experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Supports adults with developmental disabilities in a community-based day program.
• Provides recreation and life skills training to promote independence.
• Completes documentation of services and progress.
• Communicates needs to Family Support Services.
• Maintains confidentiality per HIPAA and NYS laws.
• Attends staff meetings and trainings.
