Job summary

Almadan Inc is seeking a dedicated Direct Support Professional to provide care and support to individuals in community-based settings. You will help with daily living activities, promote independence, and ensure health and safety in all activities.

The role requires a High School Diploma, 18+ years of age, and a valid driver's license with reliable transportation on site. Training in CPR/First Aid is expected and documentation completion is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; 1 year of DMH/DDS population experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ years of age and have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle to remain on site.

Responsibilities

• Provides supervision, assistance, and support to individuals according to the individuals’ support plan.
• Ensure the health and safety of all individuals receiving services
• Assist with activities of daily living to promote independence
• Review and complete daily documentation
• Provide transportation to individuals as needed
• Attend mandatory staff meetings and participate in ISP development under supervision
