Job summary

The Glenholme School, part of Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health, seeks a Direct Support Professional to support adolescents in a residential setting. You will supervise up to 12 students, teach daily living skills, and promote independence while following PBIS and maintaining safety.

Team schedules include mornings and weekends, with two team options. A high school diploma, 21+ age, and a valid driver’s license are required; prior human services experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• 1 year of Human Services experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a group of up to 12 adolescents (ages 8–21) in boarding environment.
• Maintain accountability of all students and perform bed checks after 9pm.
• Teach activities of daily living and promote independence.
• Facilitate activities and implement instruction tailored to each child’s development.
• Manage behavioral incidences using PBIS/token economy.
• Communicate with supervisors, clinicians, nurses, and other staff.
• Document shift happenings and maintain a safe, respectful living environment.
