Seven Hills Community Services seeks a Direct Support Professional II to empower individuals to live meaningful, independent lives in their communities. You will provide daily support, lead by example, and mentor other staff in a residential setting.

The role emphasizes teaching life skills, following ISP plans, and promoting dignity and respect while building strong relationships with families and the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or HiSET required.
• Active MAP certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily support and care in a residential setting.
• Teach life skills to promote independence at home and in the community.
• Follow ISP and Behavior Support Plans.
• Assist with personal care, medications, and health needs.
• Support community activities and social connections.
• Lead by training and mentoring other staff.

Direct Support Professional II

Pay: $20.50-$24.50/awake hours (see below for range details) ; $17.50/asleep hours

At Seven Hills Community Services, we believe the people we support should have choice, voice, and control over their lives, and you'll play a key role in making that happen.

Starting pay is $20.50/hour, with additional differentials based on location and qualifications. Cape-based programs offer a $1/hour differential. Martha's Vineyard programs offer a $4/hour differential, except the Franklin Street program, which offers $3/hour. An additional $1/hour differential is available for employees with active MAP certification, except at non-Franklin Street programs on Martha's Vineyard.

All asleep hours are paid at a flat rate of $17.50/hour.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate documentation and data collection to track progress and outcomes.
• Take a leadership role by training and mentoring other staff.
• Assist with budgeting, shopping, and managing personal funds.
• Build strong, positive relationships with families, guardians, and team members.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming home environment.
