Job summary

All Ways Caring HomeCare is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide compassionate care in clients’ homes in North Carolina. You will assist with personal care tasks, mobility, meals, and daily living activities while building trusted relationships with clients and their families.

Responsibilities include following care plans, documenting care activities, transporting clients to appointments, and supporting independence.

Qualifications

• Age 18 or older
• Background checks required
• Valid driver’s license with auto insurance
• High school diploma/GED

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and personal assistance in clients' homes
• Foster positive relationships with clients and support network
• Encourage client independence and daily living activities
• Implement Individual Service Plans and Behavior Support Plans
• Manage behaviors through prevention and de-escalation
• Maintain accurate documentation of activities, medications, and data
• Transport clients to activities and appointments
• Run errands for clients as needed
• Assist with other duties as assigned

External Job Description

All Ways Caring HomeCare is looking for someone like you to join our team! As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a crucial role in helping us provide compassionate care to our clients in the comfort of their homes.

• Performing personal care tasks, including assistance with basic personal hygiene and grooming, feeding, and ambulation, medical monitoring, and health care related tasks
• Fostering positive relationships between individuals served and their circle of support.
• Encouraging self-help activities
• Implements Individual Service Plan and Behavior Support Plans
• Manage Individual's behaviors by prevention or de-escalation of aggression.
• Keeps accurate daily documentation of activities, fire/ disaster drills, Behavior Support Plans, medications, goal and data tracking, as well as other documentation.
• Transport individuals to and from community activities and medical appointments.
• Transporting clients or running errands for clients
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Eighteen years of age or older
• Pass background check
• Driver's license with v alid Auto Insurance
• High school diploma/GED

Salary Range

USD $11.00 - $15.00 / Hour
