Supports is seeking a caregiver to assist a person with complex support needs in the individual’s home and community settings. You will provide hands-on personal care, help with medical tasks such as catheter care, and help maintain routines in a calm, respectful manner.

Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are essential for community outings, with weekend shifts available as needed to meet care demands and ensure daily stability.

Qualifications

• Age: Must be 18 years or older.
• Education: High school diploma, GED, or 1 year of relevant experience.
• Clearances: Ability to pass all required background checks and screenings.
• Mobility: A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work weekends or fill-in shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

Primary Schedule: Saturday- Sunday-8:00 AM - 8:00 PM

This individual is a person with complex support needs who requires consistent, trained, and attentive staff. The individual benefits from structured routines, familiar staff, and calm communication to help reduce anxiety and support daily stability.

Support includes hands-on assistance with personal care and medical needs, including catheter care and hygiene support. Staff must be confident, properly trained, and consistently follow established procedures while maintaining dignity, privacy, and respect.

• The individual uses a wheelchair and requires close supervision during mobility and community outings due to safety concerns and limited depth perception.
• The individual enjoys crafts, structured activities, and community outings when appropriately supported. A predictable, stable environment and consistent staffing are essential for success.
