Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associates degree preferred, or relevant experience.
• Valid Connecticut Driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Certification as a Direct Support Professional preferred.
• Completion of CPR & First Aid, PMT certifications required.
• Basic computer skills needed for documentation and communication.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and overnights required.

Responsibilities

• Establish rapport and positive relationships with individuals.
• Assist individuals with daily living activities and personal care.
• Encourage participation in social and community activities.
• Provide access to transportation for medical and personal appointments.
• Track and report data for individual plans.
