All Ways Caring HomeCare is looking for Direct Support Professionals to provide compassionate care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in home-like settings. You will perform personal care tasks, support independence, and foster positive relationships with clients and their support networks.

Qualifications

• Eighteen years of age or older.
• Pass background check.
• Driver's license with valid Auto Insurance.
• High school diploma/GED.

Responsabilités

• Performing personal care tasks, including assistance with basic personal hygiene and grooming, feeding, and ambulation, medical monitoring, and health care related tasks.
• Fostering positive relationships between individuals served and their circle of support.
• Encouraging self-help activities.
• Implements Individual Service Plan and Behavior Support Plans.
• Manage individuals' behaviors by prevention or de-escalation of aggression.
• Keeps accurate daily documentation of activities, drills, Behavior Support Plans, medications, and data tracking.
• Transport individuals to and from community activities and medical appointments.
• Transporting clients or running errands for clients.
• Other duties as assigned.
