Mosaic is seeking Direct Support Professionals in Illinois to help people served learn daily living skills and live as independently as possible. You will support daily activities, monitor safety and well-being, and provide emotional encouragement in a compassionate, person-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Desire to make a positive difference in people’s lives. We provide thorough training.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license required, where applicable.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Work requires frequent physical activity including standing, walking, and bending with occasional sitting, kneeling, climbing, stooping, crouching, squatting and balancing.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds safely and frequent push/pull up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living skills and activities to promote independence.
• Support clients to identify and achieve important personal goals.
• Monitor safety and well‑being and assist with personal care needs.
• Provide emotional support and help with housekeeping, meal prep and laundry.
