Job summary

Chimes is seeking a Direct Support Professional for Thursday–Saturday, 9:00am–9:00pm, on-site at Fairfax, VA. The DSP will support individuals with intellectual and behavioral challenges, promoting dignity, independence, and confidence within a collaborative team.

You will follow care plans, document progress, and participate in a training program. Benefits include paid training, health and retirement options, and growth opportunities within a mission-driven nonprofit.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in disability services preferred, training provided.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50+ lbs.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with clean driving history or limited points.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support with kindness and respect.
• Assist with personal care such as dressing, toileting, hygiene, feeding, bathing.
• Follow individualized care plans and document progress.
• Administer medications per policy.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment.
• Encourage community engagement and participation.
