Job summary

DABS, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide compassionate assistance and independence support to adults with disabilities in the community. You will help with daily activities, accompany clients on outings, and document health changes to inform care plans.

The role requires a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a willingness to undergo background checks. CPR certification and TB testing assistance are available, with training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
• Reliable transportation to and from work is required.
• Must be willing to undergo state and federal background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities such as meal prep, light housekeeping, errands, and personal hygiene.
• Take individuals on community outings for appointments or recreation.
• Track and document changes in health and behavior to support care.
• Assist with medication reminders or administration when needed.
