1:1 Part-Time Support Staff Needed – Chittenango, NY (GC-PO)

A 72-year-old male in the Chittenango area is looking for a Direct Support Professional to assist him with activities in the community, money management skills and daily living skills.

He enjoys meeting new people, participating in fun, interactive activities and getting out into the community more often. He likes shopping for personal needs, as well as visiting different places for coffee and/or breakfast.

The ideal candidate is creative and engaging, active and patient, and willing to travel to different locations in the community. The ideal candidate must be open to helping him explore new activities and interests, as well as helping him feel more comfortable with money management skills.

This is a part-time position, but additional hours are available with other people receiving services at the agency.

Hours and days of work: Mon-Wed, 9am-TBD. *Session cannot be more than 6 hours due to living in an IRA*

Starting pay: Starting pay is $19.25/hour and increases with years of relevant experience.
