Dickinson Center, Inc. in Ridgway, PA seeks a Direct Support Professional to provide daily individualized care within the Community Residential Program.

You will support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, encourage independence, respect personal preferences, and safeguard health and welfare in a respectful, person-centered manner. This full-time, 40-hour role offers $16.00 per hour with shift differential for eligible evenings, overnights, and weekends.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Direct Support Professional provides direct care within the Community Residential Program. This program provides residential services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Elk County. The Direct Support Professional provides daily individualized care to each consumer while encouraging independence, respecting personal preferences, and ensuring their health and welfare.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Experience

1. Age 18 or older by the completion of new hire training and orientation.
2. Ability and willingness to learn new skills involving working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
