Job summary

Dickinson Center, Inc. in Ridgway, PA seeks a Direct Support Professional to provide daily individualized care within the Community Residential Program.

You will support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, encourage independence, respect personal preferences, and safeguard health and welfare in a respectful, person-centered manner. This full-time, 40-hour role offers $16.00 per hour with shift differential for eligible evenings, overnights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Age 18 or older by the completion of new hire training and orientation.
• Ability and willingness to learn new skills involving working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care within the Community Residential Program.
• Encourage independence, respect personal preferences, and ensure health and welfare of consumers.
• Support daily individualized care to each consumer in a respectful, person-centered manner.
• Maintain safety and well-being of individuals under supervision.
