Job summary

Holcomb Behavioral Health Systems - A Chimes Company seeks a dedicated residential support staff member in Wallingford, PA. You will assist individuals with intellectual disabilities, follow individual plans, and act as a positive role model in a residential setting.

The role includes evening shifts (Tue-Sat 4pm-12am; Fri-Sat 8am-12am), supporting independence, guiding daily activities, and transporting clients to appointments while maintaining safety and proper documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assist persons served in reaching goals of becoming more independent.
• Act as a positive role model for persons served.
• Provide guidance, instruction, coaching, and support, following individual plans.
• Engage individuals in beneficial programs and activities.
• Transport and accompany individuals into the community for appointments and outings.
• Directly assist with personal care as needed.
• Assist with meal preparation and routine homemaking duties.
• Ensure the safety of the person served including medical/medication needs.
• Apply approved behavior plans and intervention strategies as needed.
• Complete records and reports; collect data according to Agency policy.

Job Description: Under the general direction of the Division Manager of Residential Services, with specific supervision from the House Manager, is responsible for the provision of support, personal assistance, training, and quality care to people with intellectual disabilities residing in a community group home.

Schedule Details

Full-Time Shifts

• Tuesday - Saturday 4 pm - 12 am
• Friday - Saturday 8 am - 12 am

$17.50/hour

Job Duties

Minimum Requirements

Required Clearances: Pennsylvania Child Abuse, Criminal and fingerprint-based federal criminal history; Verification that employee is not on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list

Note: At the discretion of the Personnel Officer, additional related experience and/or education may be substituted instead of the requirements specified under Education and Experience
