Holcomb Behavioral Health Systems - A Chimes Company in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Direct Support Professional for full-time weekend shifts.

You'll help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities live independently in a supportive community home, delivering person-centered care, coaching, and daily living skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license held for at least 2 years with clean driving record.
• PA clearances (Child Abuse, Criminal, FBI fingerprinting).
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality.
• Comfortable working both day and overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Help individuals work toward their personal independence goals.
• Provide coaching, guidance, and encouragement following individualized care plans.
• Serve as a positive role model and trusted companion.
• Support skill development in daily living activities.
• Plan and participate in engaging weekend recreational and therapeutic programs.
• Accompany residents on community outings, appointments, and social activities.
• Transport individuals safely to various destinations.
• Foster community connections and relationships.
• Assist with personal care needs as required.
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Create a warm, clean, and welcoming home environment.
• Ensure residents' comfort and dignity in all activities.
• Monitor and support medication administration and health needs.
• Implement approved behavior support plans when needed.
• Maintain a safe living environment and respond to emergencies appropriately.
• Complete required documentation, reports, and data collection.

Location: Lancaster, PA

Pay Rate: $18.00/hour

Program: Residential Habilitative Program

Status: Full-Time

Available Shifts:

• Monday - Friday: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
• Tuesday - Saturday: 4:00 pm - 12:00 am
• Sunday - Thursday: 12:00 am - 8:00 am

What We're Looking For:

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• PA clearances (Child Abuse, Criminal, FBI fingerprinting)
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality
• Comfortable working both day and overnight shifts
