Job summary

Holcomb Behavioral Health Systems in Ridley Park, PA is seeking a Direct Support Professional for weekend shifts (Friday - Saturday, 8 am - 4 pm). No experience required; comprehensive training is provided to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a home-like setting.

You will help residents work toward independence, coach them according to care plans, and transport them to activities while maintaining a safe, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license held for at least 3 years with no more than 3 points on driving record.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable personality.

Responsibilities

• Help individuals work toward personal independence goals.
• Provide coaching, guidance, and encouragement following personalized care plans.
• Serve as a positive role model and trusted companion.
• Support individuals in developing daily living skills.
• Plan and participate in engaging activities and recreational programs.
• Accompany residents on community outings, appointments, and social activities.

• Monitor and support medication administration and health needs.

What You'll Do:

Empowerment & Support:
