Job summary

I Am Boundless in Ohio is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide direct programming and daily living support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them pursue independence and dignity.

Minimum qualifications: aged 18+, high school diploma or equivalent, ability to communicate in English (spoken and written), and a valid driver’s license with insurable driving record. Training for First Aid/CPR is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate in English, both spoken and written.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct programming and daily living support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Assist with dietary, laundry, toileting, and housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Support individuals in daily living activities to promote independence.

What You’ll Do:

As a Direct Support Professional, you’ll play a meaningful role in providing direct programming and/or dietary/laundry/toileting/housekeeping support or other support to persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age; High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to communicate in English, including both spoke and in writing.
• Valid Driver’s License and Insurable Driving Record.

Preferred Qualifications:

• One year of experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.

Licensure/Certifications:

• Ability to obtain andmaintainFirst Aid,CPR- adult, child, and infant; delegated nursing. (Trainingwill be provided if not already certified)
