Job summary

Traditional Home Care is hiring Direct Support Professionals to provide one-on-one, non-medical support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, and mental health needs. Roles include part-time and full-time shifts, with evenings, weekends, and overnights available.

Responsibilities include personal care, companionship, light housekeeping, and promoting community involvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) preferred.
• Reliable transportation is helpful; driving not strictly required.
• Familiar with using mobile devices and EVV expectations.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal care services (bathing, grooming, dressing).
• Provide companionship and social interaction.
• Support communication and social skills.
• Perform light housekeeping and chores.
• Ensure a safe environment and teach basic safety skills.
• Help individuals meet goals and participate in community activities.
• Promote outings, errands and community involvement.
