Job summary

Help at Home in Georgia is seeking a Direct Support Professional to deliver compassionate, confidential care and promote independence for individuals served. Shifts include day, evening, and weekends with flexible scheduling.

No experience is required; training is provided. You must be 18+, have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and be ready for a supportive, team-based environment that values your contribution.

Qualifications

• No prior experience needed — we provide training to help you succeed.
• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED preferred; candidates may alternatively complete a literacy test
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Reliable transportation and current auto liability insurance
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, confidential, and respectful care at all times.
• Provide verbal and/or physical prompts to support individuals in daily activities and promote independent living, such as working toward personal goals, meal preparation, cleaning, transportation, and social engagement.
• Accurately document progress toward individual goals and maintain timely and detailed logs during each shift.
• Collaborate with the DDP and local office staff to ensure quality care
