Job summary

AHL HealthCare Group is hiring Direct Support Professionals in the outskirts of rural Duluth, MN to advocate, support, educate, and care for individuals with disabilities or mental illness as a DSP. Several homes are in rural Duluth, Hermantown, and Saginaw, MN, with 4-bedroom residential settings focused on clients’ safety and wellbeing.

Compensation: $17.50 - $19.00/hour depending on driving status and location hired for.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to pass a MN DHS background study.
• Every other weekend availability required.
• Reliable transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal cares, activities of daily living, grooming, cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
• Medication administration.
• Documenting on the services provided daily in the electronic records and computer system.
• Socializing with residents and doing activities with them.
• Going to appointments with clients.
