Kindly Direct Care is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide one-on-one support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Freehold, NJ. The DSP helps individuals build independence and community connections, enabling them to live meaningful, independent lives.

Join a team dedicated to empowerment through personalized support. Must have a HS diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and be able to complete paid training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass required background checks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to complete required paid training.

Responsibilities

• Accompany individuals to community activities, restaurants, shopping, parks, movies, recreational programs, and local events.
• Encourage participation in hobbies, fitness, and social opportunities.
• Support the development of friendships and community connections.
• Help individuals build confidence and independence in daily activities.
• Assist with planning daily activities and maintaining routines.
• Provide guidance with organization, time management, and goal setting.
• Assist with transportation to approved activities and appointments.
• Support daily living skills and promote independence.
• Complete accurate service documentation.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and the support team.
• Follow individualized support plans and agency policies.
• Attend required trainings and meetings.
