Job summary

Creed Medical in Maryland is seeking compassionate and motivated Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities with daily living activities, community engagement, and personal care.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), excellent communication, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work nights, weekends, or holidays. CPR/First Aid preferred or obtainable after hire; pay rate $18–$20 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in direct care is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate approach with patience and a desire to help others.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or ability to obtain after hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal care tasks, meal preparation, and household duties.
• Support clients in accessing community resources and participating in social activities.
• Implement individualized care plans, documenting progress and reporting any changes.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement, building trusting relationships.
• Maintain safety standards and a clean living environment for clients.
• Collaborate with families and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
