Phoenix Home Care in North Kansas City, MO is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. You will help with daily living activities, reinforce independence, and provide compassionate support.

The role requires at least 1 year DSP experience, 18+, a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and the willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid training.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Minimum 1 year related DSP experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to pass background and drug screenings.
• Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid training prior to your first shift.
• Level 1 med aide certification preferred.
• Availability for at least one weekend per month.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care and hygiene.
• Helping with meal preparation and cleanup.
• Supporting light housekeeping and laundry.
• Offering companionship and encouragement.
