Job summary

Delta-T Group is seeking a reliable Direct Support Professional to provide support and instruction to persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities within a Day hab program in Brooklyn, NY. Starting pay is $18 per hour with weekly compensation and flexible hours.

Responsibilities include promoting growth, delivering care, assisting with daily nutrition and medications, and transporting clients to appointments as needed.

Qualifications

• CPR certification and First Aid training requested.
• TB screening is required.
• SCIP may be helpful but not required.
• AMAP may be helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Promote intellectual, emotional, and social growth.
• Ensure activities foster growth to each individual's highest level of accomplishment.
• Deliver care and services in a climate of normalization, care and concern.
• Assist Consumers with daily nutrition and medications as needed.
• Transport Consumers to appointments as needed.
