Job summary
Abound Health is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Hackensack, NJ to deliver compassionate daily living support for individuals with IDD. You will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support to help clients live independently.
Starting pay ranges from $23/hour for non-acuity to $33/hour for acuity, plus a $1,000 signing bonus paid in installments after meeting hours. Paid onboarding, weekly pay, and growth opportunities are offered by Abound Health.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older and able to perform caregiving duties.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass background, driving, and registry checks.
- Willingness to complete paid training and ongoing development.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on support for activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Assist with community participation, employment, and social activities.
- Monitor health and safety and maintain a supportive environment.
- Complete documentation and coordinate with case managers and families.
