Job summary

ASG Home Care is actively hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities throughout New Jersey.

You will provide hands-on support, work one-on-one with clients, and follow each person’s ISP to promote independence and daily living success. This role offers flexible hours and local cases across New Jersey.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Prior caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required.
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support that promotes independence and daily living success.
• Work one-on-one with individuals in home and community settings.
• Follow each client’s Individualized Service Plan (ISP).
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support.
