Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in homes and communities. You will provide hands-on support, following each person's ISP, and work one-on-one with clients.

Responsibilities include helping with daily living activities, transportation, and promoting independence. We welcome compassionate, dependable applicants with or without prior caregiving experience and a willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
Prior caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required.
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference.

Responsibilities

Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP.
Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support.
