Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide hands-on support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and in the community, following each person’s ISP.

You will work one-on-one, help with daily living activities, transportation, and community participation, while documenting services and communicating with the care team.

This role offers flexible hours and local cases across New Jersey, with room to grow within a DDD-focused agency.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal planning, and transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support.
