Job summary

ASG Home Care is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support individuals with developmental disabilities across New Jersey in home and community settings. You will work one‑on‑one with clients, following each person’s ISP to promote independence and daily living skills.

We offer flexible hours and local NJ cases, with a supportive team and opportunities for growth within a DDD‑focused agency. Prior caregiving experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Prior caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client’s ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support.
